Day #155 (Sacred Space)
(damn don’t have any flowers to have a picture of them)
But Ylang Ylang is one of my all time favourite essential oil. All time!
Ylang Ylang is a sweet oil that is reputed for its aphrodisiac qualities (oooh la la) and is frequently recommended in Feng Shui to help spice up your relationship and get some action happening.
It is a deeply feminine oil though also helps balances the Yin and Yang energies which seem to become so imbalanced the busier our lives become.
It is also known as a calmative and restorer or energies.
It’s a great help to boost your self confidence and calm any unresolved anger, rage or jealousy. It also helps slow down your breathing and rapid heart rate so excellent for anxiety or shock.
For me, even though it is a sweet oil it has an exotic feel to it. And an ‘Ancient-ness’ that takes hold of me and captures some past deep ancient connection that I can’t quite put my finger on. But I came across something that may help answer this question of mine…
According to butterflyexpressions.net ‘The aromatic focus of Ylang Ylang is spirituality. It fosters a desire in our souls for deeper and more meaningful communication with heaven.’
Ylang Ylang can be used in your home where there may be someone with depression, insomnia or to create that spark between you and your partner.
It is also great to burn after an argument or when you feel tension in the air.
I love mixing Ylang Ylang with other oils.
I very rarely use it on its own as I find it a little too overpowering.
And will be writing more about my special essential oil combinations for specific areas and circumstances in your home and biz.
With any essential oil they are always best to use with caution
P.S. Please share it on your Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site just for the LOVE of it.
And please share in the comments box below because sharing feels good.
