The Feng Shui-ed Elephant
Day #214 of #365 Days of Feng Shui
Elephants are beautiful awesome creatures that just ooze strength, compassion and wisdom.
And they have been used as a good luck and protection symbol in Feng Shui for centuries.
Elephant energy is one of family, trust, knowledge, lineage, power and presence.
Their trunks are also very significant symbolically as the trunk is used for gathering food, caressing their young, drinking, showering, protecting and holding each other.
In art and ornaments Elephants trunks are depicted either up or down.
It’s believed that when the trunk is up it signifies good luck and welcoming in the energy.
When the trunk is down the Elephant is in protection mode and is able to clear a path through obstacles.
Here’s 3 Places you can use Elephant in Feng Shui.
1) Place two on either side of your front door with trunks up. Symbolising welcoming in good luck.
2) Place a family of Elephants the living room to bring the energy of nurture and care within your family unit.
3) Place a pair in the bedroom with the trunk down for fertility.
