Day #150 (General)
Peacock Feathers in your home or business.
Oh who doesn’t like a peacock feather?
I grew up with them in my home and my mum still has them now. To be honest I pinched this one from her so I could feature it tonight. (and she isn’t getting it back – she has loads)
The Peacock is said to be the earthly representation of the Phoenix, hence why peacocks and their feathers reflect the state of transformation.
There are a few myths that Peacock feathers bring bad luck inside a home, which I believe is a misinterpretation of the process of transformation and the phoenix, bring death and fire.
In most countries the Peacock is revered and has spiritual and powerful energy e.g. in China the Peacock is a symbol of Quan Yin, goddess of Compassion, values and healing.
The beauty in which peacock feathers are renowned for hold the energy of attraction and therefore has been used in Feng Shui for single people to attract a partner. You may wish to place the feathers for this purpose in the South West sector of your bedroom which is the marriage sector of your most intimate space. (SW sector of the whole of your home is also the marriage sector)
Peacock feathers are also known for their protective energy which is shown by the all Seeing Eye within the design of the feather.
The eye in the Peacock feather also represents opening up and expanding into a higher self awareness. As it is symbolic of seeing into oneself and seeing the beauty within.
Displaying Peacock feathers in your home brings such a magical and beautiful energy and can also be used for spiritual and altar work.
They certainly capture your attention.
P.S. Please share it on your Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site just for the LOVE of it.
