The energy for March started at 10:45pm, 5th of March as we move into the Water Rabbit
For the month of February and March we have been in the same elements as that of the entire year of 2022
In February we saw the exact same pillar Yang Ren Water with the Wood Tiger and now in March we are experiencing Yin Water Gui with the Wood Rabbit. Therefore, both months with Water sitting on Wood. What this does is, the water strengthens the Wood element and in particular the Yin wood of March. So let’s explore what this could potentially mean.
We may see a little more flexibility than the previous month of February. Yin Wood is not hard and steadfast like Yang Wood. The Yang Wood of February may have felt that there was more stubbornness and self righteousness around you. We can certainly see that with what is currently happening in the Ukraine. And I wonder whether Putin even employed a Chinese Astrologer or QiMen Dun Jai practitioner because the elements and charts are alarmingly supportive of the aggressive onslaught that the people of Ukraine are experiencing. Sending love out to all those affected by war, past and present.
The Yin Wood of the Rabbit is much more flexible and resilient than the Tiger. If you consider that Yin Wood is like a blade of grass, even if it has been under enormous pressure, it still has the ability to spring back and grow tall.
Though the Rabbit is easily swayed by other people’s opinion, so it’s very important to not to be used or influenced so much so that you lose your sense of independent thinking. You may also feel that people are asking you to do more for them than usual, during March. Therefore, you may be in demand but this element is asking you to set your healthy boundaries and say no if people are asking you to do things that extend outside of your duties or what’s expected. If you are saying yes too often, then this is when resentment may build up.
Resentment and anger can be fuelled for March as the Wood is very strong and reinforces the Yang Wood of the Tiger for the Year. The Tiger is fiercely loyal and will attack if necessary, mainly out of self protection or protection of children. This may feel like a noble thing to do, but ensure you keep your hat on so that you are taken seriously and get your point across. An anger outburst may distract the conversation away from the real reason why you need to be in self preservation mode. So, calm yourself, and then speak to ensure you create positive changes.
The Rabbit is considered a Peach Blossom for some people, meaning; this month could see you entering a new romance, if currently single.
It can also denote sex scandals which means we may see unfavourable romance events popping up in the news or celebrity scandals being prevalent for March. It could trigger relationship challenges for you if the Rabbit is your personal Peach Blossom, though an unfavourable element. So it’s important to be mindful of how your relationship is flowing and allow for flexibility if challenges arise. It will pass.
Not only do we have the Peach Blossom star for March but we will also have the opportunity of a Nobleman (let’s use Noble person) appearing. This month you may have someone in your sphere who will appear and be a guiding force or provide an opportunity for your step towards more success. Mostly the Noble person star indicates a mentor, or someone who has the ability to provide wisdom so that you can gain insight and knowledge how best to approach situations. Most of the time your Noble person will be a positive experience, but also to take note, sometimes Noble people can be challenging. For example, they may show up to teach you boundary setting by consistently over stepping boundaries.
We also have Gui- Yin Water that will show up for March. Gui has a tendency to move from one thing to another and so you may feel like jumping from pillar to post. March will bring lots of movement and wondering about what to focus on.
Though on a broader scale Yin Water also has the ability to bring details into focus so that you can gain more awareness of the nitty gritty of things. This makes a great month for study and pursuing your creative interests. You may start to feel the stagnation from February start to lift and your enthusiasm regained.
As Yin Water is the most Yin of all the elements, this can mean that there are secrets hidden, but as they have come up to the surface, you maybe provided with a glimpse to the truth. Let’s wait and see what is revealed for the rest of this month.
You may find yourself being more courageous and taking risks, this is a good thing, though ensure you are not only bringing out-of-the-box thinking, but please make sure there’s lashings of logic and rationale.
What you can do to navigate March
The Fire element is still not really present and it’s actually a very important element to use for you to tip the balance in your favour.
Fire also has the ability to exhaust anger and resentment so ensuring the Fire element is stoked. This means making sure you incorporate compassion with your dealings with others, following your passions and speaking up for the greatest good.
Some Fire element activities are:
- Simply soaking in the sun. Ensure the sun is beaming onto your back. Your back is like a solar panel and having the sun warm your back may bring warmth to your organs and Qi.
- Dance like a flame.
- Sitting by a fire
- Being compassionate
- Speaking from the heart
- Taking CoQ10 is recommended for heart health (consult your health practitioner)
- Mostly, move your body and stay active. Gentle exercise and laughter!
The Earth element may also feel under attack with so much Wood element. This means your ability to process events or what is occurring around may be difficult. This could also reflect in your digestive system. Supporting your Earth element is important.
Some Earth element tips
- Ensuring you are eating warm nourishing foods. Not raw or cold as this puts even more stress on an over worked digestive system.
- Grounding exercises
- Supporting the Spleen meridian by reducing your stress and meditation
- Tending to your home and your own personal space.
The monthly Flying Stars
The 1 Star is in the Tai Ji this month and which means your you may be returning to your resources to navigate March. Your resources are the single most important aspect to success. Once you have learnt something, no -one has the ability to take that away from you. Your knowledge base, inner wisdom are yours to keep forever and it’s something that will only get better as years go by.
March is reminding you to return and continue to listen to your inner voice and wisdom to make important decisions. Yes, do your research, ensure that it’s balanced information, and then return to yourself to make choices that are right for you.
You may also be embarking on more study or building upon your skills.
There’s also a theme of separation for the month of March. You may feel there’s a peeling apart or moving away from certain situations or people. And even though this may be difficult, it’s something that may need to happen. This doesn’t mean it has to be forever decision, but for now it may be best for all involved.
We may see a number of people who are in the spotlight have their reputation questioned. Those in authority may be challenged and validity of their endeavours may be scrutinised. Reputation and status may feel a little shaky. If you are a business owner, you know that your reputation is priceless, so protect it as best you can for March.
March Overall
Ground yourself.
This month can feel a little unstable and distracting, so the best way to combat this is to ground your energies, be in the present and speak from the heart.
