The energy for July starts on 7th at 10:39am as we move into the Fire Goat until the 8th August.
July brings us back down to Earth as we enter the month of the Fire Goat. The Goat has strong energy and brings with it the element of Earth. Earth can be both stable and unsettled depending on where you stand.
When we combine the Earth of the Goat with the strong Wood of 2022, it could signal a breaking up of the old to challenge your world views and to address what isn’t working for you.
But first, let’s dive into how the Yin Fire element of the Heavenly stem for July may influence and ignite you.
The Fire element Ding, is represented by a candle flame. This Yin Fire is sensitive, receptive and refined. You may find yourself bringing light to your projects and refining your business and dealings with others. Ding loves to be precise and create a clear picture in order to support and inspire others.
You may find you are coming out of your shell and wish to lead others so that you can help them move forward too. Though this may mean looking back into your past and healing childhood traumas or set backs.
Yin Fire is very influenced by generational parenting and is signalling it may be time to address old wounds from family triggers. Ding Fire is overly sensitive to how parents have influenced them, especially the mother-child bond, so you may feel drawn to healing this aspect within you so that you can move to your next level of life and achievement.
Be careful not to over give.
To some people there is no such thing as over giving and Ding Fire is indicating that this may be the situation for July.
But she is also warning you to ensure you take one step back as you could burn out. Yin Fire has a tendency to be loving and caring to the point of self-sacrifice. And everybody knows this is not sustainable without repercussions. So ensure you aren’t over giving and forgetting about yourself this month. Ding Fire is so loving and nurturing that people may take advantage of this. Ensure that you have strong boundaries in place, especially of your time and energy.
You may find that your perspective and views this month lean more towards the conservative side as the Fire lights up your thirst for accurate knowledge without the fluff. This is not a bad thing so long as you are digesting the correct information. Ding Fire can be easily influenced and so ensure you are not caught in an information bubble and only consuming what is being fed to you from those in your circle of comfort. It’s important to look at all views within your bubble and from those outside of the box.
You may find you want to get things over and done with as Yin Fire likes to act fast and decide later. This can cause problems with making mistakes due to hastiness and then cause low self-confidence and fear of trying again. Ding Fire needs to be careful not to blow out your own flame. Remember you are resourceful and strong and dont allow anyone to put your fire out, not even yourself!
Yin Fire is related to the heart and is a signal of optimism and joy! And as an added bonus of the Tiger of the year – who brings in the Fire element, July is a month of hope and happiness.
Yin Fire is also very fiery, fickle and can be temperamental. One minute you may feel like you’re positive, the next minute you’re triggered and ragey. Ding Fire can bring an instability to your emotions unless your grounded and use the Goat Earth energy to assist to anchor you.
The Earth Goat is highly influential for July
The Earth element is super strong in the month of July. Even though the Fire is present, it’s feeding into the Earth and making her stronger.
The Earth element will govern the main themes of the month and provide a guide as to what you may expect to see happening in your groups, community and globally.
It’s also considered one of the storages so you may find yourself being able to put savings away this month or buying new large items.
The Earth element is all about cohesion and bringing thoughts, ideas and people together so that they all feel like a cohesive unit. Goat will assist you with having stamina to stay the course and strengthen your convictions. The Goat also has the ability to digest and process information well so that you can truly gain knowledge and start to integrate it within your life.
When we see the Goat enter a time where the Wood element is strong, such as the Goat in a 2022 year, we may expect a bit of a shake up. As the Earth equals environment and the physical body, being controlled by strong Wood element, it’s like a tree growing it’s roots and breaking up the Earth to secure itself. There’s a sense of opening up to allow something to grow, but before that can happen we have to crack open to reveal what’s inside. This can be painful and challenging, but ultimately there’s hope and new stability.
Mothering yourself, meaning; self care, is high on your agenda for July. You may feel like you are breaking through to a new level. But as the saying goes… ‘New level, new devil’ ensure you take the time to recalibrate after your shake up so that you build your strength up again to see the horizon.
The Fire element governs the heart and nervous system so it’s best to reduce stress and sit in with your Heart space. July may become more challenging if you are leading by your head which could increase your stress levels and wondering why things aren’t working for you. Take time to sit with the energy of your Heart. Take a moment to listen and ask yourself “What are my true desires?” and then be honest with yourself.
Whenever Heart energy comes up in Chinese Astrology, Feng Shui Masters will always point you to Co Q10 supplementation. (I’m not a Naturopath or doctor, but it maybe useful to research this and ask a professional)
The Earth element may be unstable during July so you may feel like you need to take care of your digestive system and bring in warm nurturing Earth element foods. These are mainly root vegetables especially Pumpkin and Sweet Potato. And nourishing stews and soups.
Your digestive system is particularly sensitive to worry, which is the main challenging emotion of the Earth element. Worrying is praying for what you don’t want. So flip that fear and imagine the desire what you want to happen. Then say it out loud as if it’s already yours!

You may be injecting self-confidence in every aspect of your life though once you have felt a sense of achievement though you may also experience loneliness. It’s lonely at the top. Do not fear this as it’s just a mere hiccup to owning your power and eventually you’ll gain the peers which resonates with your new found confidence.
The patriarch or male head of the household will be busy this month and may become tired as a result.
Ensure all your paperwork is in order and you have read the fine print as when the number 6 comes into the Tai Ji it can trigger lawsuits and litigation. Be prepared and get good legal advice before proceeding with anything new.
Your career or business may be challenging this month as the #2 sickness star is in the North sector. Sometimes this is a way to shake you up to gain a better perspective of what you truly want your work life to look like. It may also indicate that illness may slow down your work and you may need rest to build up your health again.
Your eldest daughter may be feeling a little strained during July as she contends with the #5 nasty star. This can bring challenges in any area of her life. Ensure she has a great support network and you’re available to listen.
Abundance mindset could start to fall into self-doubt and finances could take a hit. But this is the challenge for this month. Don’t believe all that is circulating around you. Keep your vision strong and continue to hold your highest intentions for your abundance and financial freedom. Just because the #5 star is challenging this area, it’s just a wake up call to be extra vigilant.
Your kids in general are very supported in July. They have amazing energy and can maintain their vitality. If your kids have felt sluggish or tired lately this will hopefully lift after the 7th July. And you may also feel supported to play more.
