This is a case study of a client of mine. I have been given permission to share this to provide you with how Feng Shui can help support you in your business and pursuits.
Here’s where the story starts…
Daniella is a business owner and contractor.
Daniella works in a premises where she contracts to the business owner of the property. She is responsible for her own business yet still needs to operate under the owner of the business and the business’ name.
And the owner operator does not work on the premises but still has financial control over Daniella’s business and the site itself.
Daniella came into this business just over a year prior to this consult.

When Daniella first arrived at this business there was one other person working as a contractor. And Daniella soon discovered that her co-worker wasn’t opening the premises at regular times or keeping client appointments. This continued for a few months even though Daniella had addressed this person and the owner.
It was then discovered that this person had not been honest in their transactions with clients and also took clients privately, instead of going through the premises’ business, and was accused of stealing equipment for private consults.
When this person was eventually confronted, they exploded, threw things and became quite volatile, though thankfully left.
The next person that was taken on board as a contractor seemed nice but rarely showed up on time, did no cleaning and made continual excuses why they couldn’t come into work.
After a long period of not hearing or returning messages, this person too, ended up leaving.
The next contractor stayed for approx 7 months. Though within months, after starting off well, it turned into a very toxic situation where the person would lie, steal money, turned up late nearly everyday, didn’t contribute to housekeeping and didn’t act professionally with clients, Daniella or other people working in another business in the same building.
On the business and financial side of things for Daniella, the clients that were being attracted were also toxic at times. And there were big fluctuations in the flow of clients and money coming in. It was a bit hit or miss.
This is when I was called in to help.
After seeing the premises there was nothing on site that was glaringly obvious, until I did the Flying Stars Chart of the business.
And this is when the building started to reveal what was actually going on in this business!
There were 3 main points that revealed to us about what was being attracted into the building and why there were toxic relationships onsite and money flow issues.
1. Firstly, there was a particular energy that was significantly influencing the building, it’s workers and money flow.
This building has, what is known in Feng Shui as, “Riding the Dragon Reversing” and held both aspects of this energy.
Not only was the ‘Water Dragon going up the Mountain’ but also, the ‘Mountain Dragon was going into Water’
The energy this holds for the whole of the business and the dynamics between the workers cannot be underestimated.
Let’s look at the ‘Mountain Dragon going into Water’.
What is occurring on this site is that the energy (The Divine Mountain Dragon) that holds the overall patterns and influence for healthy relationships and physical and/or emotional health is at the front door.
This does not make for a very happy Mountain Dragon as it prefers to sit at the back of a building. In this case, the Divine Mountain Dragon is at the front which creates a high potential of conflict between workers and attracting toxic dynamics. In this particular case, it was attracting contractors with poor ethics and inability to work with any respect towards others.
Unfortunately, this is something that can’t be remedied with a ‘Feng Shui cure,’ though with awareness of this, Daniella can be more discerning in regards to the type of people she would recommend working with, and how she may view herself in regards to being worthy of working with healthy people.
The ‘Water Dragon going up the Mountain’ is also a significant energy that is present in the building.
This means that the energy that helps to generate wealth (The Divine Water Dragon) is at the back of the building, when this occurs it means that there will be challenges with creating a good flow of finances and have a definite impact on Daniella’s financial potential.
Not only that but the Divine Water Dragon is not in an active part of the building. It’s located in the only storage room on site, making it impossible to access and activate.
The ‘Riding the Dragon Reversing’ energy pattern onsite can set the foundational energy of a building and its one to consider; whether an occupant wants to remain in this dynamic longterm or not.
2. The energy at your main entrance signifies what you are attracting in regards to wealth into your business.
The main entrance on this premises was split between to two energies.
Part of the energy that was being attracted here was neutral, meaning as a business the feng shui of the building neither supports or negates Daniella’s ability to make money and thus, it would depend on Daniella’s (Wo)Man Luck to generate her finances. It also emphasised that a good marketing strategy needed to be in place to help with this flow of finances. Though as the Divine Mountain Dragon was also present in this combination then it also further suggests that Daniella would have to work hard to make little money.
The other half of this entrance was less kind.
The main entrance was also attracting and generating the main themes of delinquency, ‘Gets into trouble because of money’, ‘Sickness and plague’. Sounds very dramatic doesn’t it? The Flying Star at this door is actually the most challenging out of all stars.
As this combination is found in an active area, it suggests that the feng shui of the building does not support her ability to make money. More specifically it increases the risk of attracting bad debts or becoming bankrupt. This could be disastrous for this business. From my experience, most people working in a building like this tend to find they go backward’s financially.
This entrance and the analysis above is the main entrance from the street into the building, but there are actually two separate businesses on this site operating under the same Flying Star Chart, so I also needed to look at the separate door that acted as a main door into where Daniella works.
This combination here actually carries the theme of foolishness, stupidity and mental health challenges. (I secretly love how blatant Feng Shui can be in regards to descriptions of stars)
If this combination is found in an active area such as an entrance, it suggests that the feng shui of the building does not support your ability to make money. From my experience, people living in a building like this tend to find they go backwards financially. This may manifest as difficulty saving money or generating an income. More specifically poor health may affect her ability to make money.
These energy influences was very compounding for Daniella and her ability to create a good client base and generate a healthy income. Not only that but the front desk placement, where the owner operator had place it, was further influencing bankruptcy.
3. The front desk is an important feature of a business and where it is placed can have an effect on what energies are being activated by potential clients.
In this case, the front desk was placed in a way that was hard to see from the entrance and potential clients needed to walk completely into the room to be able to see it and know where to go. This had the potential to confuse a new client, hindering the flow. Not only that, but the placement of the desk was in the same sickness star as the main entrance. Meaning; every time a client was at the desk and where Daniella and the other contractors exchanged money for payment, they were activating the energy of bankruptcy, sickness and plague.
With all this challenging energy going on in this premises, it’s no wonder Daniella had felt like she was in a battle against the odds.
But there was one saving grace to this building and that was the Tai Ji.
The Tai Ji is the middle of the building which can signify the central theme and grounding force to a place.
The Tai Ji had an energy combination which signifies success and promotion. More importantly it was the only area in the building where there was a likelihood to generate money.
And the best thing was, that it was accessible and the perfect place to put the front desk.

Daniella’s Feng Shui Recommendations….
I advised Daniella to move the desk and activate this area with a Feng Shui enhancer. She also needed to remedy the main entrance and the entrance into her workplace and create more signage for clients to find the business easily.
Ideally if this was Daniella’s premises I would also highly suggest for her to dismantle the storage area (this is where her True Wealth sector is located) and open it up to be accessed. I would then advise her to actually do all her client work from here or even the front desk and activate it with a Feng Shui enhancer.
Though there was also one more important thing I wanted Daniella to take away from this…
Daniella seemed like a down to earth, likeable, responsible and talented person who disliked the drama and told me she just wanted to get on with her job and work in her field of passion.
Yet here she was in the middle of this turmoil.
I wondered why she had attracted this building into her life and the challenge with co-workers and money. As we are all attracted to places, homes or work places that reflect us and our patterns, Daniella had energetically been attracted to this work place for some reason.
Delving a little deeper, it seemed that Daniella felt she didn’t deserve to be respected for the work that she did and the talent that she had. She had grown up with the belief that the type of work that she did wasn’t seen as a ‘real’ job in which she could earn money. She also grew up with the notion that work was hard and arduous and there needed to be a struggle to deserve and earn your right to be in the industry she worked in.
It was suggested to Daniella to start to work on her self-worth and to build a sense of worthiness in the work she produced. I also suggested that she may need to strengthen the feeling that she deserved to be surrounded by healthy people and a healthy environment.
Daniella’s Outcome….

After a few months of implementing the changes that was needed to balance and neutralise the challenging stars, enhance the good energy and self-worth work with my Sacred Space Sessions, the financial flow has started to become more abundant and regular and she has now built a healthy and regular client base.
The other contractor eventually left (with much kicking and screaming) and within a few weeks has attracted a very happy, responsible and friendly co-worker/contractor to work alongside Daniella. The two are getting on well and seem to support one another. And Daniella has also noticed she has stopped bringing emotional toxic energy home from work.
The general flow of changing the desk also works much better within the space and is the first thing you see upon entering the business.
It’s such a pleasure to see this positive turn around for Daniella. She seems much happier and focused on her work, and is happy to remain in this workplace longer than she ever expected.
