Day #178 of #365 Days of Feng Shui
According to Feng Shui doors are communication portals and by simply looking at someones main entrance or front door, you can gauge the type of communication dynamic of the home or biz.
Doors also symbolically represent what you open yourself up to and your timing of opening up your boundaries.
Your boundaries are represented by walls, your property site and literally your boundary line.
Your doors though provide you with a choice.
You either have the power to open the door to someone you wish to allow into your home or heart or to shut the door and no longer let them in.
You can even ask someone to leave or ‘show them the door’ or you could talk to them through a security screen door. Only allowing them a glimpse into your home and only allowing someone so far into your space.
Doors give you the freedom to come and go. To open or shut them. To leave them ajar or jam them shut.
Sometimes doors swell in humidity and become stuck and causes a sticky situation or energy flow. And you sometime have more personal doors to you.
A different route people take to get to you e.g. the side or back door for family, friends or close neighbours.
And each door within your home will set up boundaries within your inner domain.
Doors to the private areas of your home such as your bedroom or bathroom will allow you to have privacy of your most intimate spaces.
And when you look into your home you may notice how you use your doors, what size they are, how many do you have and where are they located and it may give you an insight of who and what you are letting in.
How much you trust and how fearful you can be. As you physically have to leave one room to be able to enter into another.
So too when you choose to close the door on a part of your life another opens. Opens to new possibilities, opportunities, fears, relief, hopes and dreams…
“There are things known and things unknown and in between are the doors.” Jim Morrison
P.S. The signs on these doors were written and drawn by our eldest (6) and placed them on each door after we moved in.
P.S. Please share it on your Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site just for the LOVE of it.
And please share in the comments box below because sharing feels good.
