Feng Shui and the Phoenix
Day #224 of #365 Days of Feng Shui
The Phoenix is a mythological bird that represents transformation.
Note the statue in the pic is a Garuda, the Hindu representation of the Phoenix.
In Feng Shui is considered to be the Red Bird which captures your attention and brings forth new opportunities and potential growth.
The Phoenix represents the cycle of life and the power of the Fire Element. The Phoenix has the ability to recreate itself time and time again just like parts of ourselves and the life cycle.
The Phoenix can ignite into flames, burning up the old, burning off the dross, to return to the Earth (ashes) to then rise again.
Anew and ready to recreate it’s new beginnings and life.
According to Feng Shui the Phoenix represents abundance, new beginnings and opportunities and has been used for centuries to bring prosperity and wealth to homes and biz. It’s best to place the Phoenix in your True wealth sector or an active living space.
When coupled with the Dragon, the Phoenix and Dragon together, help to attract a relationship or marital harmony. It’s best to place both these symbols side by side in the marriage sector of your bedroom, which is the South West.
