Fear has the ability to filter through all aspects of our energy systems and take a hold and govern the functioning of those systems.
This post is following on from Fear and How you can Release it Energetically – Part 1.
And we are going to stay with the meridian system and Chinese 5 Elements for Part 2.
You have a very astute, defensive, on guard and very reactive meridian that has your back, your immune system, your fight, freeze or flight and your army of defenses.
It’s so ready to act, that it sometimes reacts to outside sources or events when it really isn’t necessary.
It’s a bit of an overachiever, shall we say, in the fight and protect arena. And sometimes it takes on such a powerful role that it may also build up the belief of ‘fight to the death’.
This is a little old energy system living in you. A survival mechanism that is necessary to keep you alive, safe and to fight off diseases.
Though, it also may get a bit confused. As this little system was built into your energy since the beginning of human existence and doesn’t really understand, in this modern world, what is and isn’t safe any more. So it can be on high alert all the time.
It is also contending with things in your environment which wasn’t there a bazzillion years ago, like EMF’s, pollutants, preservatives and all the emotional stress of having world wide news broadcasted every day. Making you feel overwhelmed with grief, fear and other feelings of not being safe. These influences can be a very subtle and subliminal intake of information that you may not notice so much on a conscious level, but your energy system is picking these distresses up constantly, wondering when it needs to fight or flight.
And the meridian and energy system that governs this is; your Triple Warmer.
When Triple Warmer kicks into gear it uses lots of your energy to fight! It’s works like a commander with a barrage of soldiers attacking it’s enemy. The upside is that Triple Warmer is fighting for your survival, the downside is, it can be fighting everything all the time. And stress and Fear is a huge trigger for Triple Warmer start it’s attack towards the unknown.
Triple Warmer also has the ability to take energy from other systems especially when it’s been activated. It will particularly drain the energy of the Spleen meridian. I like to see Spleen Qi as the mother, a nurturer and nourisher, which feeds you nourishing broths and keeps you warm and safe, wrapped in a nice blanket of love. Ha! Yep this is Spleen Qi.
Triple Warmer and Spleen Qi is in a relationship together, though rarely is it mutual.
Outwardly expressions of Triple Warmer going into overdrive are panic attacks, anxiety, adrenal exhaustion, lowered immunity, allergies, not being able to cope with stress and fear, fear of anything and everything! And Triple Warmer can strike up a habit of switching on and fighting whenever it feels like there is danger, even when there clearly isn’t. And this tires poor mother Spleen Qi. She can no longer keep up with nourishing you, taking in all the vital force from your food and she becomes worried about you and every step you take or choices you make.
And this relationship of your Triple Warmer and Spleen Qi can no longer cope with any threats and can go into overwhelm, fatigue and frozen with fear.
Bit there is a way to counter this energetically. And start to calm the commander so the mother can take back her energy.
When you are in a state of fear, anxiety or high stress there’s a few things you can do to tell the Triple Warmer to chill the f*ck out and to get in the back seat and let your nurturer drive you home.
This quick and easy technique can help to calm your Fear and relax your responses very quickly.
And if you do it regularly it can help switch and break the pattern of Triple Warmer overdrive.

- Rub both your hands together to start up your electromagnetic energy.
- Place the palm of one hand over your heart chakra.
- Then with the other hand, use your fingers to tap the point on the hand (as shown below in pic)
- Tap between 10 – 30 taps.
- Shake the energy off the hands.
- Swap and do the same to the other hand.
- You can do this for as long as you need to in order to calm your senses.
I use this tip mixed with a few other techniques and it works wonders.
There is so much more to add to the information of Triple Warmer and how you can start supporting your Spleen Qi. But this quick and simple tip can start to create a break in your reactive responses and calm your over zealous Triple Warmer, fear and anxiety.
