December Astrology 2021

08/12/2021 by Renee

The energy for December started the morning of 7th of December as we move into the Metal Rat.

I hope November’s events have assisted you to gain insight for what 2022 may bring for you. (Earth Pig was a reflection of the energy for 2022)

One of the main factors for this month is that it is the same elements (pillar) as the year 2020. So you may begin to see similar fears that erupted in 2020 come to the surface. Fear plays a major theme for December and with this new variant, we may see the same levels of anxieties starting to build as we did in 2020.

I’ve referred to a few Feng Shui Masters insights in regards to this month and many have concluded that the new variant doesn’t seem to have the same power as previous variants. Though it may be a little stronger in Europe according to Feng Shui, iChing and Chinese Astrology assessments, it’s not as potent or destructive as previous ones. Fingers crossed they are right.

The Rat is a strong Water element and so it’s recommended to ensure you keep your anxieties in check, seek professional support if your mental health needs attention and to allow yourself to navigate with ease around challenges.

The advantage of the Water element is that is has the ability to flow around obstacles. And when you honour the Water, it will take you down to the depths of your psyche for you to be able to attain insight and inner wisdom about how you best function, and increases your self awareness.

The Rat is also a signal for many endings and new beginnings. So you may feel that you have new projects you wish to pursue; leaving behind old outdated views and pursuits.

Geng (Metal) is the element that will manifest externally. You may witness clashes, courageous but aggressive arguing, relationship break downs and fierce fighting. It’s highly recommended that you bring in the Fire element to keep things warm, approachable and lathered with a smothering of compassion. As both the elements (Water and Metal) are cold, they are major flags and reminders for you to ensure you aren’t coming off as harsh or lacking empathy.

What we all need now are open hearts, compassion and understanding.

Geng Metal is extremely hard working but be mindful of your perception of competition so that you don’t burn yourself out. You don’t want competition to be a driving force for your success. Being courageous, keep focus and taking breathers are encouraged.

Fear can also spread like wild fire. So it’s important this month to be extremely aware of how much fear you are consuming and whether or not it’s necessary in your day to day interactions. Instead, turn your fear into problem solving, this way you will be able to gain a sense of self empowerment instead of being swept up in hysteria.

Geng Metal is like a sword or sharp object and so has the ability to cut away and pierce through any delusion. Discernment and aligning yourself to your values is the key for December. And from this action, you will be able to see clearly what’s in front of you. Use this sword also to cut away the dead wood, through the BS and to see new and shining truths.

Grief is still a factor this month and sometimes you may get caught up in the wave of loss. When these types of tsunami’s arrive it’s best not to fight against them, and to just ride the wave. Ensure you have a good routine and take moments to meditate will assist you to ride any storm.

The monthly Flying Stars

The 4 Star is in the Tai Ji this month and may indicate that ‘abundance’ in all areas of your life may be your focal point. But ensure that you don’t burn yourself out! Trying to do too many things in order to keep every aspect of your life thriving at the same time, may make you feel like it’s all just too much. Though you may also be reassessing what is important to you. What abundance really means for you instead of looking at everyone else success. You may reevaluate what it all means to you personally.

There maybe some challenges for the dominant male in your home for December. They may feel unsupported this month or if you have your main entrance in the NW sector it could mean that finances may become challenging or disrupted in some way.

Families health will be a priority during this month as the 2 Flying star flies into the East. Especially keep a check on your eldest son who may feel the influence of this energy more than others.

The focus of success is of building your reputation in the area of your expertise. This could be upping your marketing, going for a promotion or being seen and heard.

Your career is also a focus as the 9 star flies into the North sector. This provides you with the good qi to increase your experience and success for your career path.

I’ve also been studying a new (ancient)modality called Qi Men Dun Jia. This is an amazing modality that can help people in so many aspects of their lives. It’s used in litigation, assists to help  find lost property, lost people, solve or understand the situation of a crime, increase wealth and many more uses.

I’m only in my infancy with this modality as it’s the most complicated of all Chinese Metaphysics, but I’m treading lightly whilst attempting my December’s forecast for this modality.

December Qi Men overview

The signal for the start of December is accompanied by the Rest Door. This door has appeared in order to provide you with a heads up that it’s important to rest.

It suggests it’s a time period where you must rest in order to have the stamina to move forward in your next stage. The Rest door is in the Kan palace which is regarded as Fu Yin; meaning this further increases the rest factor, and provides you time to contemplate your next move. It also indicates home renovations and a great time think about how you will bring in income.

Wu is Fu Yin, and is indicating that isolation, being alone and things coming to a stand still may be expected. Though, this also provides you with the time to clear your mind, gain clarity and decide whether you’ll make the most of your circumstances or do nothing. There maybe obstructions and it’s advised to stay put.

The Grass Star also makes it’s appearance and can indicate illness and loss of money, though as it’s with the Rest door, and Commander, it means that it will eventually turn out well.

Ensure though, that your property and belongings are secure as Grass also indicates theft. So make sure your security systems are up and functioning.

The Commander Deity looks over all that is in December, bringing good fortune regardless of the challenges. Even though there maybe concerns, the overall outlook is good.

Wishing you and your family well and much love for end of year celebrations xx
