Day #87 (Plants in Places)
Plants in Bedrooms.
As much as it’s nice and healthy having plants in your home, and as nice as it is decorating your bedroom believing your plants highlight your space…
It’s highly suggested you move your plants out.
Unfortunately plants do not belong in your bedroom for mainly 2 reasons…
1) During the night your plant emits CO2 – carbon dioxide. So as you are sleeping soundly away and thinking you are breathing fresh clean oxygen from your plant, it’s actually the fresh clean carbon dioxide. Depending on the size of your room and the amount of plants you may have in it, the increase in the CO2 in your space can actually leave you feeling tired and groggy in the morning. You may even feel like not getting out of bed. If you do have plants in your room this may be the reason for your morningitis.
2) Plants have the ability of creating Yang Qi, which is active. It’s ideal that your bedroom is a nice healthy Yin space to nurture your rest and restorative abilities and placing plants in your room will only increase the Yang, which may lead to restless sleep and the increase of then feeling drained and tired.
As pretty as your plants may be in your bedroom, it’s best to keep them out of your bedroom. Place them active rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms and kitchen areas.
P.S. Please share it on your Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site just for the LOVE of it.
