Why the Jade plant is loved in Feng Shui

21/04/2014 by Renee

The Jade plant  is one of the most well known of any Feng Shui plants used regularly within the home or business.

The Jade plant, Money Plant or Money Tree symbolically represents wealth and success and placing it at the front of your home or business and inside your building may attract abundance into your life.

Why? And why this particular plant?

I can see 2 reasons for why this plant is singled out….

1. The Money Tree is a plant from China so hence why it is incorporated into Feng Shui. Traditionally Feng Shui Masters would have used symbology in their natural and local environment to help represent what they wanted to create.

2. Looking at the shape and structure of the Money Tree it ‘does’ represent abundance… The leaves are very round and welcoming. Having round and smooth curves represent a soft and welcoming energy and has a ‘wholeness’ energy that can ‘contain’ energy. The plant also holds water within its leaves and trunk. Water helps create wealth and abundance and has strong energy for creation.

The Jade plant  also has strong thick sturdy trunks and branches which reflect with having good foundations and stability.

Being a succulent they also can endure dry or barren times.

Where?

Placing a Jade plant within your home or business can help with bringing this energy into your space and life.

I like to place mine outside the front door to welcome it in and just inside the front door.

Also if you know where your True Wealth sector is – only calculated by a consultant schooled in the Flying Stars – you can also place one in this sector.

Happy planting Green Thumb Feng Shui Gal!

Much Love
