Day #73 (General)
Mirrors in the bedroom.
I have chatted before about mirrors and how they can multiply and bounce the Qi around your space.
Having mirrors in the bedroom does the same and therefore may disturb your sleep.
According to Traditional Feng Shui mirrors in your bedroom can scare your soul.
The way I see it from a Western spirituality perspective is that when you sleep you have the ability of accessing the astral plane. It is here, it is said, that you do more service work or spiritual work. When you sleep your astral body leaves your physical body to be able to access this plane.
If a mirror is in the bedroom when this process is occurring, the astral body may become frightened by its own reflection and hence return to the physical body. This then disturbs your sleep and you may not feel well rested in the morning.
The last time I lived in a home with large mirrored wardrobe like the one in the photo, before I knew about this Feng Shui tip, I had the most frequent visits from spirits.
I would wake to see spirits in my room at least 3 or 4 times a week.
Definitely multiplying the access to the astral plane in a different way.
Mirrors in the bedroom can also increase arguments within relationships especially when the mirror is directly reflecting the bed like in the photo.
And as mirrors multiply the energy is also said to multiply people and may increase the possibility of a 3rd party coming into the relationship.
This photo is of our new bedroom, as we have only just moved house, and I will be either covering the mirrors with a decorative cloth or seeing whether I can turn the doors around. Apparently with some sliding doors this is possible.
If you have a small mirror you may wish to only cover it when you sleep, this is an easy cure for mirrors in the bedroom and you still get to use the mirror when you want to.
P.S. Please share it on your Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site just for the LOVE of it.
And please share in the comments box below because sharing feels good.
