Day #58 (Sacred Space)
One of my favourite Spiritual icons and one I really need to work with at the moment, hence why he is appearing today.
Ganesh is mainly known to be the ‘Remover of Obstacles’, a Hindu God and for the West…one of the Ascended Masters.
You can call upon him when you feel stuck in any area of your life and is very auspicious for any celebrations of new beginnings or projects.
My Ganesh will be placed at the fore front of my altar for the next few weeks to help me clear my ‘perceived blocks’.
The reason why Ganesh is such a great remover of obstacles is because he doesn’t believe that there are any blocks in life, only those you place yourself.
He teaches you that you create your own path and can manifest your true desires.
In India he is also invoked at the beginning of every significant event as he is known to be the ‘Lord of Beginnings’ as he can bulldoze his way through anything to make the path open and accessible. He has many different names, symbols that surround him and is deeply rooted with knowledge and wisdom.
He also has a Yantra to help invoke his qualities and mantras assisting you to tap into his energy and resonate it through your space and body.
This is one of my favourite ways of working with him. Chanting in meditation Ganesh’s mantra – Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha.
One I always teach in my meditation classes. Deva Premal has a beautiful recorded version of this you can use to chant along with.
Ok.. Off to remove some obstacles.
P.S. Please share it on your Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site just for the LOVE of it.
