Day #36 [General]
Having a Feng Shui-ed home does not mean that your home needs to be pristine, where everything has a place.
Yes; decluttering and organising is important and yes; having beautiful surroundings is also important to help lift the energy and create positivity.
BUT… having a Feng Shui-ed home doesn’t mean being pedantic regarding kids and their toys. If you are a parent you would know how stressful it can be just cleaning up after your little ones.
Your home is a functioning, living entity and for you to create and play within it helps support creativity and play within your life.
By simply having children within a home is creating more Yang energy and injects a home with liveliness and activity. And the Yang energy present will activate those areas of the home that your kids play in.
For me the play areas of our home are the knowledge area and children area, so by the simple fact the kids play here, these areas of our life is activated and supported.
Feng Shui is knowing and working with the energy within a home and not about keeping everything obsessively in its place.
It’s about ‘living’ within your home and enjoying every aspect of your life. Including your children and them having the freedom to play and have their toys around them.
