Day #118 (Sacred Space)
The other day I stopped the car to take a photo of a ‘for sale’ sign. As soon as I got out of the car this little fella caught my eye and flew on top of a memorial obelisk and just sat there, posing.
It felt like he was there just for me.
We sat staring at each other for a while and he let me take some photos of him. He only flew away once I needed to get on my way. Love animals and how they come to you with messages.
Kookaburra energy is very powerful and strong.
They have a strong presence and their laughing call is so distinct and prominent in the landscape. They definitely like to get your attention.
And this is part of the message they bring; that it’s time to take up that prominent stand and make yourself known.
Kookaburras are very good hunters and can even catch snakes; meaning strength, determination and deep personal healing is to come. And that there is a great shift occurring with in you which can ripple out to others.
As they can also dive for fish means that they are teaching you that diving deep within the emotional depths you can emerge clearer and with your catch or goal.
And you can’t go past the beautiful Kookaburra’s laughing call. Oh what a sound.
Their laughter has 3 symbolic meanings.
1) It’s asking you to bring in more joy and play into your life.
2) Their laughter is a way of telling other birds and Kookaburras of their territory and so can be a reminder to strengthen healthy boundaries with others.
3) Their territorial nature is to protect their family and is reminding you to have gratitude for the family you have around you.
I love Kookaburra.
