Day #235 of #365 Days of Feng Shui
4 Inappropriate Gifts According to Feng Shui
1) Bonsai Tree – these are actually representing stunted growth and constraint. Giving someone a Bonsai Tree is not considered appropriate as it does embrace growth, abundance or freedom.
2) Knives – there are some foodies out there who may feel like this would be a great pressie to receive but according to Feng Shui this is probably one of the worst. Knives represent Sha Qi (negative energy) and should never be given as a gift. If someone gives you knives for a gift ensure you give them a dollar as the exchange would be like you are buying it off them rather than receiving Sha Qi.
3) Artwork that looks aggressive e.g. a roaring tiger baring it’s teeth. This again will create Sha Qi with in the home or building and is quite aggressive energy that is inappropriate to bring into someone’s home or biz.
4) Bouquet of Dried Flowers. Dried flowers bring the energy of something that is no longer living and has no vital life force, so dead or dying flowers are not a gift you wish to give to someone to help them feel energised or full of vitality. A bigger no no if they are sick.
