Feng Shui is not only about moving furniture or space clearing, it’s also about creating a healthy environment in which to live and work.
1) Turn of your WiFi. (yes i have said this lots of time) WiFi is radiation, if you can return back to hard wired internet then go for it. It will one of your best and healthiest choices. Though if this is not a possibility (try and make it one) then at least turn it off when not in use and especially before you go to bed. It is not only classed as a possible carcinogen (the same as lead and DDT) but it can cause restless sleep and nightmares in some people – especially kids.
2) Move your bed away from any electromagnetic radiation appliances or meter boxes. These again emit high levels of EMF and can be detrimental to your health. Provide at least 2.5 metres distance (even if they are on the other side of the wall) away from your bed. This includes, mobile phones, computers, clock radios etc.
3) Reduce your chemicals – Ive already written about this in a few previous posts but I want to really drive this home. It’s not only the environment that is suffering from all the chemicals leaching into the earth and waterways, but it is also your own health and that of your children. Chemicals can be ingested through the skin, eyes, lungs (inhalation) and by mouth all of which can load your system and damage vital organs. Yup that serious, especially for kids and their tiny developing bodies and brain. Also the bonus is that most alternative and natural cleaning products are about 3 times cheaper than a chemical branded product.
