The energy of the Iris brings with it the sense of warmth, grace and valour and the symbolism of 3 or the Trinity – Mind, Body and Spirit.
It holds the energy of wisdom and knowledge and is able to provide you with a sense of support, that everything is going to be ok.
The higher knowledge and vibration of this flower has been recognised the world over.
Medicinally Iris root has been used for centuries as a potent remedy for coughs, colds and teething for babies.
The American Blue Flag Iris is used as a detoxification herb for the liver and gallbladder.
Iris is the Greek word for rainbow as they come in so many colours and is said to be the bridge or communicator between Earth and the Heavens.
In China they recognise Iris as the butterfly whose beauty can transform and shift through challenges.
The French also have adopted it as their fleur-de-lis to represent the monarch. Paintings and drawings of the Iris is also found in the ancient tombs in Egypt and is the name giving to colour section of our eyes.
And in ancient Japan they used Iris leaves and Mugwort to repel negative energy and evil spirits.
And in Australia we have our own native Bush Iris which energetically can help assist you to access the higher realms and to release fear of death and transition into the after life.
They can be given for many different occasions such as birthdays, grief, happiness and celebration.
But most importantly they bring you colour and help to trigger your creative spark and spiritual awakening.
